Guido Geissler, CFA, has a comprehensive work experience spanning several roles and industries. Guido is currently the Head of Capital Markets at Multiply and previously held the same position at Finitive. At Jefferies, they worked in the Securitized Markets Group. Prior to that, Guido had roles in the Credit Markets Division at Macquarie Group and in Structured Credit at Credit Suisse. Guido also worked at Deutsche Bank, where they had multiple roles, including those in Structured Credit and Global Equity Derivatives. Guido began their career in Mergers & Acquisitions at Morgan Stanley and also worked in Equity Derivatives Sales & Trading at Deutsche Bank.
Guido Geissler, CFA, holds a Diplom Kaufmann degree in Business Administration & Economics, East Asian Studies from Freie Universität Berlin, where they studied from 2000 to 2005. Guido also pursued Business Administration at the University of St.Gallen in 2002 and Business Administration at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2003 to 2005. Additionally, Guido received language and cultural exposure through their studies of Chinese at Beijing Language and Culture University in 2003, Hindi and Chinese at SOAS University of London from 2006 to 2008, Spanish Language and Literature at the University of Buenos Aires in 2005, and Japanese Language and Literature at Kyoto University of Foreign Studies in 1998. Working towards professional development, Guido obtained certifications including CAIA, CFA, Series 63, Series 7, and Series 79 from various reputable institutions. In 2016, they also completed a course in Front-End Web Development at Flatiron School.
