Broderick Ian Aquilino

Broderick Ian Aquilino has worked in the cybersecurity industry for several companies. Broderick Ian started their career as an Analyst at F-Secure Corporation in 2007 and was later promoted to the role of Senior Analyst. During their time at F-Secure, they made significant contributions, including presenting at a security conference and discovering and reporting on notable Mac malware. Aquilino then joined WithSecure in 2022 as a Lead Researcher, where they co-created an innovative technology called Activity Monitor. Prior to F-Secure, they worked as an Antivirus Engineer at Trend Micro from 2003 to 2007.

Broderick Ian Aquilino holds a Master of Science - Technology degree in Computer Software Engineering from Aalto University, which they attained between 2014 and 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems, General from the University of Santo Tomas from 1998 to 2002. Broderick Ian also possesses additional certifications including the Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) from ISC2, obtained in January 2024, and a Machine Learning Course Certificate from Stanford University, obtained in 2023.
