Sasha Wiegand, FCAS, MAAA

Sasha Wiegand, FCAS, MAAA, serves as the Head Actuary at Shepherd since March 2022, previously holding the position of Consulting Actuary at Oliver Wyman from January 2017 to March 2022 and at Ernst & Young from January 2011 to December 2016. Prior experience includes roles as a Pricing Analyst and Actuarial Analyst in Loss Reserving at Progressive Insurance Company from June 2007 to December 2010, and as a Research Assistant focused on multivariate regression and model valuation research at Ohio University from September 2005 to June 2007, where Sasha also served as a Teaching Associate.
