Joana Grade dos Santos

Joana Grade dos Santos has a diverse work experience. Joana is currently working as a Compliance Executive at Wise since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Translator for Translators without Borders starting from May 2020. In this role, they translated various documents related to education and legal matters from English to Portuguese or vice versa. Joana also worked as a Visual Merchandiser at Inditex from October 2021 to April 2022. Additionally, they served as a Support Through Court Helpline at Support Through Court from October 2020 to September 2021. In March 2020, Joana participated in a law conference at Birmingham City University and won the Placement award at the Law Clinic. Joana'swork focused on the topic of whether individuals who commit serious crimes deserve a second chance in society.

Joana Grade dos Santos completed a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Birmingham City University from 2019 to 2022. In 2023, they pursued further education by obtaining a GDPR Certificate from E-learning at work. Furthermore, in the same year, they enrolled at The University of Law to pursue an LLM Legal Practice SQE 1&2 degree, specializing in Law - Solicitors Qualifying Examination.
