Jennifer Tomaro

Jennifer Tomaro has a diverse work experience ranging from 1998 to 2023. Jennifer started their career as a Senior Accounting Clerk at Malmberg Truck Trailer Equipment Ltd, where they managed accounts payable, accounts receivable, and daily cash balancing for four divisions. Jennifer then worked as a Bookkeeper at Home Hardware Stores Limited, handling payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and year-end files.

In 2009, Jennifer joined Pythian as a Finance Manager, where they played a key role in implementing expense reporting and accounting software. Jennifer also managed revenue recognition and invoicing processes, communicated with clients regarding account issues, and transferred data between systems.

In 2022, Jennifer moved to WithYouWithMe as a Global Finance Manager. Here, they managed direct reports and ensured the smooth performance of the finance department. Jennifer provided training, leadership, and mentorship to their team, while also assisting the CFO with ad hoc requests and identifying opportunities for process improvements across departments.

Jennifer's most recent experience is as the Manager of Finance & Accounting at Coughlin & Associates Ltd., starting in 2023.

Jennifer Tomaro attended St. Pius X High School from 1989 to 1994, where they earned a Diploma in Business. After high school, they enrolled in Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology from 1997 to 2000 to study Accounting and Finance. Currently, Jennifer is pursuing certification from CPA Ontario.
