WITI (Women in Technology International)
Keiko Munechika is the CEO of HighRI Optics, Inc. since May 2019 and serves as a WITI Power Source Coach for Women in Technology International. Munechika has been a member of the Molecular Foundry User Executive Committee at Berkeley Lab since 2017. Prior experience includes managing R&D projects and a team of scientists at aBeam Technologies, Inc. from March 2015 to May 2019, with a strong focus on project management and collaboration development. Munechika worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at both Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory from 2012 to 2015. Academic credentials include a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Washington, where research involved near-field nanophotonics, and a BS from The Evergreen State College.
