Thomas Hetschel

Thomas Hetschel has extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Thomas is currently working at Witzenmann Group as the Vice President of Product Development & Innovation since January 2023. Before that, they held the position of Director of Engineering at SEG Automotive from January 2018 to December 2022. Prior to that, they had various roles at Robert Bosch GmbH, including Director of Engineering from August 2016 to January 2018, Group Leader of Engineering from July 2013 to October 2016, Innovation and Technology Manager from April 2009 to July 2013, Research Engineer from July 2006 to April 2009, and Design Engineer from March 2003 to July 2006.

Thomas Hetschel began their education in 1998 at Hochschule Heilbronn - Hochschule für Technik, Wirtschaft und Informatik, where they pursued a degree in Mechatronik & Mikrosystemtechnik. Thomas completed their studies in 2003 and earned a Diplom-Ingenieur degree. Later, in 2006, they enrolled at Technische Universität Dresden in the Faculty of Elektrotechnik und Informationsverarbeitung. After three years of study, Thomas Hetschel graduated in 2009, earning a Dr. Ing. degree.
