Chikage Imai

Chikage Imai has a diverse work experience in the field of design and marketing. Chikage currently works as a Bilingual Technical Artist at Wizards of the Coast since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Freelance Designer for multiple clients starting from January 2011. In this role, they directed campaign ads, designed layout for marketing collateral, created brand images for events, and led teams for designing print collateral and websites.

From October 2016 to June 2020, Chikage served as a Junior Art Director at Specialty Commerce Corp. Chikage was responsible for creating wig and apparel catalogs, as well as brand advertising for global email campaigns. At Rhode Island Novelty, where they worked as a Graphic Designer from August 2012 to September 2016, Chikage created marketing collateral and collaborated with various departments to meet deadlines while maintaining the company's brand image.

Chikage also gained experience as a Graphic Designer at Schneider Electric from September 2011 to January 2012, where they developed marketing design projects from concept to implementation. Prior to that, at Studio Get from 2007 to 2010, they worked as a Sr. Designer overseeing print collateral, developing marketing strategies, designing corporate identities, and creating advertisement materials for a Japanese company targeted at domestic and international markets.

Earlier in their career, Chikage worked as a Graphic Designer at Triplet, Ltd from June 2005 to January 2007, where they designed websites, corporate identities, and print collateral, and led a project to design a website for a major American cosmetic company. Chikage also briefly served as a Graphic Designer at Modernista! in 2004, collaborating with a team on creating advertisement and marketing materials, and creating a vintage photography book.

Chikage Imai attended Bristol Community College from 1998 to 2000, where they obtained an Associates Degree in Graphic Design. Later, from 2000 to 2004, they studied at Massachusetts College of Art and Design, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design.
