Art Director at Wizards of the Coast

Merideth M. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Merideth started their career at Upper Deck Entertainment in 2006, where they worked on IP development, creating visual graphic bibles and designing advertising and print materials. From 2006 to 2009, they also worked at Rainbow S.p.A., where they contributed to license acquisition and designed layouts and covers for publications with international market penetration.

In 2000, Merideth joined Media Blasters as an Art Director and Senior Designer. Merideth collaborated with licensors on design for major product releases and streamlined processes, increasing the Art Department's output by 30%. Later, in 2008, they joined AnimeWorks Game Shop as a Senior UI Designer, leading the interactive department and designing game websites and web ad campaigns.

In 2011, Merideth joined Coreedge Inc as a UI Designer, where they focused on information architecture and web layout for the online game Alteil. Merideth also designed and art directed websites and game ads.

From 2012 to 2014, they served as the Co-Founder and Creative Director at Apocoplay, and in 2014, they joined Amazon as an Art Director. At Amazon, they specialized in art directing literary fiction/non-fiction and children's picture books. Merideth also played a key role in developing the visual language for the LGTBQIA+ imprint TOPPLE.

Currently, Merideth M. is working at Wizards of the Coast since 2022. Merideth holds the position of Art Director, managing art direction for the company. Additionally, they previously served as a Commissioning Art Buyer from 2022 to 2023.

Merideth M. attended Pratt Institute from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communication Design. Additionally, they completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Communication Design from Pratt Institute, although the specific duration of this program is unknown.
