Madhvi Puri

Madhvi Puri, VP of Accounting & Finance and Global Controller at Wizeline, is a seasoned finance professional with over 25 years of experience. She joined Wizeline from Quizlet, a global education technology platform used by over 60 million people. Prior to Quizlet, she spent four years at Thumbtack, a technology leader in the online home services sector. At Thumbtack, she helped the business effectively close fundraising of $120 million in 2019. She also has experience in the B2B sector and worked at Taulia, which SAP acquired in early 2022. In addition to growing, leading and mentoring the accounting teams in each of her roles, Madhvi has helped in opening international offices in Bulgaria and the Philippines, running secondary tender offers and managing acquisitions and dispositions of businesses. She has experience across several different sectors in both public as well as private companies and successfully led Xoom's IPO process in 2013. She began her career as a CPA at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1998, where she spent three years. She then spent the next decade across large public companies, including Silicon Valley Bank, Siebel Systems, Advent Software and Del Monte Foods.

A third culture kid, Madhvi grew up in Dubai, Mumbai, and Hong Kong. She fell in love with California while at Claremont McKenna and has been there ever since. She lives in Lafayette in the Bay Area with her husband and children, Kareena (13) and Kian (9); they just added a puppy, Rocco, to their family.
