Will Brown

Will Brown is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in reporting and sports writing. Currently a reporter at WJCT Public Media since April 2022, Will focuses on issues of race, poverty, and inequality for Jacksonville Today. Previous roles include covering transportation and sports business for the Jacksonville Business Journal, and serving as a sports reporter at the St. Augustine Record, where Will enhanced the publication's digital media presence. Other notable experiences include freelance journalism, sports writing for The Victoria Advocate and the Tallahassee Democrat, and an internship at The Shreveport Times. Will holds a Bachelor's degree in newspaper journalism from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and a Master's degree in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia from the University of South Florida St. Petersburg.
