Briana Walker

Briana Walker is an experienced meteorologist currently serving as a fill-in meteorologist at WKBW-TV since July 2016. Prior to this role, Briana was actively involved with the National Weather Association Brockport Chapter from August 2013 to May 2016 as a student member, focusing on weather education and creating forecasts for campus events. Internships at 13 WHAM ABC and WIVB/WNLO-TV provided valuable experience in broadcast meteorology, including graphic creation and chroma key techniques. Early exposure to meteorology began with a student shadowing role at the National Weather Service in 2008. Briana holds a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from SUNY Brockport, received in 2016, and an Associate of Science in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Niagara County Community College, completed in 2013.
