Josh Nichols

Josh Nichols is an experienced meteorologist with a diverse background in weather forecasting across various media platforms. Currently serving as the weekend meteorologist at WKBW-TV since June 2022 and a consulting meteorologist for WXXI Public Broadcasting Council since March 2017, Josh has a strong focus on local weather for Western New York. Additional roles include delivering weather reports at Jazz 90.1 FM, providing forensic meteorological reports for Weather-Track, Inc., and creating forecasts for multiple radio stations through Precision Weather Forecasting. Previous experience encompasses positions at WBZ | CBS Boston, WIVB/WNLO-TV, WROC-TV, and WHEC-TV, showcasing versatility in both broadcasting and digital media. Josh holds a Bachelor's of Science in Meteorology and an Associate of Science in Communication Arts and Science from Lyndon State College.
