Mithila Wegapitiya

Mithila Wegapitiya currently serves as the Executive Director at LAUGFS Holdings Limited, overseeing People and Brand Functions across 19 legal entities. As a member of the WLPGA Youth Council, Mithila contributes to the identification of emerging leaders and represents the perspectives of young professionals in the industry. In the role of Chief Marketing Officer for POTENZA Australia & New Zealand, Mithila focuses on enhancing operational performance through technology and strategic solutions. Additionally, as an Independent Board Member at Sri Lanka CERT|CC, Mithila advises on cyber security strategies. Mithila holds significant leadership experience as Chief Operating Officer for both Singapore and Sri Lanka operations at POTENZA, and has an active role in SLASSCOM's Intelligent Automation Center of Excellence. Previous roles include positions at Virtusa, Ve Global, Warner Bros Games, and Deutsche Bank. Mithila's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business and Management from Aston University.
