Dhanya Anthraper

Dhanya Anthraper is a specialist in chemical health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) with a background in chemical and materials engineering. Currently serving as a Specialist Chemical HSEQ Partner at Waste Management NZ Ltd since February 2023, Dhanya previously held the position of Solid Waste Contract Engineer at Thames-Coromandel District Council from September 2021 to February 2023. Dhanya's career began as a Graduate Engineer at Waste Management NZ Ltd from February 2018 to October 2021 and includes a summer research role at The University of Auckland, where work focused on the solubilisation of sludge solids during hydrothermal processing. Dhanya also gained valuable experience as an Engineering Intern at DSM, performing health and safety analyses and quality assurance tasks. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Chemical and Materials Engineering (Honours) from the University of Auckland.
