Erik Bottema has a diverse work experience in sales and business development. Erik most recently served as the Vice President of National Sales at WNDW (PMD Media) starting in March 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Director/Head of Sales - Blip Marketplace at Blip from May 2020 to February 2023. During their tenure at Blip, they played a key role in revitalizing the SaaS product proposition and implementing successful sales strategies.

Before Blip, Erik worked as the Head of Sales - CRO at Trooh from July 2017 to April 2020. Erik directed all sales operations for the company in the US, leading the sales team to consistently exceed targets and driving new business revenue growth.

From September 2016 to June 2017, Erik served as the VP of Sales & New Business Development at Freebee. In this role, they provided oversight and direction for national sales efforts and played a crucial role in business growth and expansion.

Erik's previous experience includes roles at WPP's Kinetic Worldwide, where they served as the Managing Director of Aviator North America from September 2007 to May 2016. Erik was responsible for developing and launching the global Aviator business unit and managed award-winning activation programs for Fortune 500 brands. Erik also held the position of Director Worldwide Group at WPP's Kinetic Worldwide from September 2005 to August 2007, managing end-to-end operations and leading media planning and investment teams.

Before joining WPP's Kinetic Worldwide, Erik worked at Clear Channel as the US & International Sales Manager from April 2002 to September 2005. In this role, they focused on growing sales across domestic and international markets.

Erik began their career at JCDecaux as a Senior Account Executive in 2000.

Erik Bottema holds a Drs./MSC. degree in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including "Building and Managing a High-Performing Sales Team," "Business Development Foundations," "Cold Calling: The First Seven Seconds," "Cold Email Prospecting," "Sales Management Foundations," "Sales: Closing Strategies," and "Solution Sales" from LinkedIn. Erik also holds the "Edge Academy Certified: Marketing Foundations" certification from The Trade Desk, which was obtained in March 2021.
