Shahid Shaikh

Shahid Shaikh is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management within the pharmaceutical and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as DGM-Site HSE Head at Wockhardt Ltd. since September 2012, Shahid manages a team of 15 HSE specialists across API Biotech and Formulations Units. Prior roles include Senior Manager EHS at AMRI India Pvt Ltd, where oversight of three API units was provided, and Senior Executive-Site Safety Officer at Sandvik, where Shahid implemented HSE systems according to Swedish guidelines. Initial experience includes a position as Production Chemist at Indian Oxalate Limited, supervising distillation operations. Educational qualifications encompass a Master’s in Industrial Chemistry from Shivaji University, an Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety and Health, and a Bachelor of Laws from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University.
