Clay Cooper

Clay Cooper currently serves as Senior Vice President and Director of Development at Woda Cooper Companies, Inc., starting in September 2023. Previously, Clay held positions as Vice President at both Woda Cooper Companies, Inc. and the Affordable Housing Trust for Columbus and Franklin County. With extensive experience in negotiating real estate contracts, producing Low Income Housing Tax Credit applications, and developing strategies for affordable housing initiatives, Clay has also collaborated with municipalities to enhance financing and zoning for such projects. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Asian Studies from St. Olaf College. Early career experiences include legal work as a law clerk at Reno & Cavanaugh PLLC and internships with the US Congress, focusing on housing reform and policy-related research.
