Casey Sackett

Casey is passionate about using math and software to improve lives. Prior to joining Woebot Health, Casey was Vice President of Engineering at Samasource, where he helped reduce poverty by creating data labeling work for people in Uganda and Nairobi that was used to train autonomous driving and NLP algorithms.

Before that he founded and was CTO of Alt12 Apps, a female-focused digital health company that was acquired by The Honest Company. Casey holds three bachelors degrees from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in mathematics, philosophy and management science. He has also studied Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) under Steve Hayes at the University of Nevada and was a research assistant in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) at Marsha Linehan’s Behavioral Research and Therapy Clinic at the University of Washington, Seattle.
