Michael is an accomplished executive with more than 20 years of experience driving growth for some of the world’s top consumer technology and digital health companies, including AOL Inc., Motorola, TomTom, PatientsLikeMe and The Learning Corp.
A champion of solutions-driven consumer and health technology, Michael was previously CEO of The Learning Corp, where he led the digital therapeutics company as it scaled operations, achieved double digit growth, and delivered an expanded set of advanced software solutions for people living with neurological conditions. Before that Michael was the Global Executive Vice President of Marketing, Operations and Product for PatientsLikeMe. In that position he led teams across marketing, UX/Design, product management, strategic partnerships and business intelligence. Under his leadership the company expanded from a 30-person startup into a 180-person industry leader, tripled its member base, and strengthened its global impact with strategic business partnerships. Before joining PatientsLikeMe, Michael was President of BroadMap, a provider of industry-leading geographic data products. His geospatial industry experience started at TomTom in 2005, where he was the Global Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for the company’s Tele Atlas business unit. Michael has also held senior marketing positions at Motorola and AOL Time Warner.
