Courtney Dobbins

Courtney Dobbins, PHR, SHRM-CP, currently serves as the Director of Human Resources at Wofford College since December 2022. Previously, Dobbins held the same position at Spartanburg Methodist College from August 2021 to December 2022, focusing on transforming HR into a strategic partner for the institution. Dobbins has extensive experience in human resources, having worked as a Senior Human Resources Specialist at Spartanburg Water, where responsibilities included coordinating employee relations for 280 employees. Earlier career roles include serving as an Employee Relations & Training Coordinator at InterCall and as an Education/Employment Manager at Milliken & Company. Dobbins began the professional journey at Extended Stay America, handling accounts payable duties. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from the University of South Carolina Spartanburg.
