Fran Schantz

Fran Schantz is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in equipment engineering, operations management, and process engineering within the semiconductor and manufacturing industries. Currently serving as the Senior Equipment Engineering and Maintenance Manager at Wolfspeed, Fran previously held the role of Vice President of Operations at Pallidus, Inc., overseeing a team of over 60 in the production of 6” SiC wafers. Fran’s career includes significant positions at GlobalFoundries, Eastman Chemical Company, Eastman Kodak, Dominion Semiconductor, Lockheed Martin, and IBM, demonstrating expertise in equipment excellence, manufacturing operations, and process improvement. Educational qualifications include a BS in Chemical Engineering from Clarkson University and an MS in Chemistry from Rochester Institute of Technology.
