Simon Wood

Simon Wood has a solid work experience in the field of RF product development and applications. Simon started their career as an RF Design Engineer at Marconi Instruments in 1995 and worked there until 1998. Simon then joined Raytheon RF Components as a Senior RF Design Engineer from 1998 to 2000. After that, they worked at Cree for 17 years, starting as a Senior RF Design Engineer and eventually becoming the RF Product Development Manager. Since 2017, Simon has been working at Wolfspeed, where they initially served as the Director of RF Business Development and later as the Senior Director and currently as the VP of RF Product Development and Applications.

Simon Wood attended the University of Bradford from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering with Honors degree in Electronic Engineering with European Studies.
