Moreen Majiwa

Moreen Majiwa is an experienced professional in gender justice and advocacy, currently serving as Programme Manager for the AWESOME initiative at Womankind Worldwide since April 2021. Previously, Moreen held roles such as Regional Gender Advisor and Programme Manager for Oxfam’s STITCH program, and Advocacy Advisor at the Center for Reproductive Rights. A background in consulting includes positions with various organizations, including FEMNET and Akina Mama Wa Afrika. Moreen contributed as Legal Officer for Oxfam's Pan Africa Programme and has experience in high-level policy dialogue and independent consultancy. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Violence, Conflict, and Development from SOAS University of London, a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the University of the West of England, and a Bachelor of Law with Honours from the University of Kent.
