Andréa Thomé

Andréa Thomé has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Andréa currently serves as the Head of the Council at WOMCY, LATAM Women in Cybersecurity, where they are responsible for the installation and management of the organization's chapter in Brazil. Andréa also leads local teams in areas such as marketing, strategy, legal, and membership. At WOMCY, Andréa is instrumental in planning and implementing corporate, educational, and foundational programs in Brazil.

In addition to their role at WOMCY, Andréa Thomé is a Business Security Director at Nubank, a prominent fintech company. Prior to this, they worked as a Professor of Cybersecurity at FIA ONLINE and Professor at Ibmec.

Andréa Thomé has also held leadership positions at NTT DATA Europe & LATAM, where they were the Director for Cybersecurity Solutions, responsible for launching and accelerating the cybersecurity business unit. Andréa oversaw the development and dissemination of consulting solutions for cybersecurity and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC). At PRIMORDIAL CONSULTORIA E SISTEMAS, they served as a Partner and Executive Director for GRC Solutions, focusing on delivering consulting solutions in the fields of governance, risk, and compliance, internal audit, information security, and IT governance.

Furthermore, Andréa Thomé has taught at Impacta Tecnologia, IPOG - Instituto de Pós-Graduação e Graduação, and FESP - Faculdade de Engenharia São Paulo, where they held the position of Professor in various courses related to auditing, governance, risk management, and information security.
