Carolina Caparroso

Carolina Caparroso currently serves as LATAM Cybersecurity Legal Counsel at Citi, where responsibilities include advising on cybersecurity incident response and managing crisis communications in coordination with regional teams. Previously held positions include Legal Manager at a confidential organization, Chief of Staff at the Technology and Digital Strategy Office for ISSSTE, and Junior Advisor at another confidential organization. Carolina began a volunteer role with WOMCY, LATAM Women in Cybersecurity in 2023, and earlier worked in the Secretaría de Salud as Assistant Manager and Head of Department within the Information Technology Office. Carolina holds an LLM in Information and Communication Technologies from the University of Oslo and a Bachelor of Laws from Tecnológico de Monterrey, complemented by a brief educational experience at Wilfrid Laurier University.
