Jodie Evans

Jodie Evans is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in contracts management and external communications, currently serving as Contracts Manager at Leidos since November 2023. As the founder of Women Empowering Defence since July 2023, Jodie works to dismantle stereotypes and promote the achievements of women in the Defence and Security Sector. With a longstanding career at the UK Ministry of Defence from 2014 to 2023, Jodie was influential as the External Communications Lead and Defence Women's Network Lead, fostering an inclusive environment for discussions around gender equality. Additionally, Jodie has showcased their talent as a professional singer with the One And Only Adele Tribute Act since 2016, performing for various prestigious events. Prior professional roles include leadership positions at Interservefm Ltd, Herefordshire Council, Lafarge, and Bairstow Eves Estate Agents. Jodie attended Northampton School for Girls from 1994 to 1997.
