Catherine Christaki is a seasoned Greek Localization Specialist and co-founder of Lingua Greca Translations, with extensive experience in translation and localization from English into Greek. With a career spanning over two decades, Catherine has specialized in various fields including software and app localization, medical and pharmaceutical sectors, electronics, telecommunications, and gaming. Catherine has held significant roles such as Greek Localization Lead for Apple and has contributed to the Unicode Consortium as a Greek translator and vetter. Additionally, Catherine is actively involved with Women in Localization as the Americas GEO Manager and has managed localization projects and accounts for various clients, ensuring high-quality outcomes and customer satisfaction. Academic credentials include a BA (Hons) in Modern Languages from Anglia Ruskin University, along with various professional development workshops in localization and internationalization.
