Theresa Giraldo

Theresa Giraldo is a seasoned professional in the insurance industry with extensive experience in underwriting and client advisory roles. Currently, Theresa serves as a Senior Underwriter at AXA XL since December 2021. Additionally, Theresa has contributed to the development and promotion of women in the surety industry as a Board Member and Vice President of WOMEN IN SURETY since January 2017. Prior to these roles, Theresa was a Client Advisor and Vice President at Marsh Inc. from September 1993 to November 2021, specializing in surety, market procurement, rate negotiations, and program management. Theresa began the career as an Underwriting Assistant at AIG from June 1990 to September 1993. Educational background includes an Associate of Arts degree from Kingsborough College and studies in Music and Composition at La Guardia School of the Arts in New York City.
