Judyanna Yu

Judyanna Yu is a seasoned professional in the biotechnology and venture capital sectors, currently serving as a Member at Global Women in VC and the Founder and Managing Partner of One Six 8 Ventures, a Calgary-based firm focused on supporting early-stage health and life sciences companies. Judyanna is also an active Board Member at BioAlberta and PharmSky Research, while providing strategic advisory services at Re-Stem Biotech, a firm specializing in cell therapies for various medical conditions. Previous roles include Chief Financial Officer at Providence Therapeutics, VP of Corporate Finance at Cerecin, and VP of Finance at International Financial Data Services Canada. Judyanna founded Ms. UPTOWN Health & Fitness and held the position of CFO at Biochem Group. Educationally, Judyanna is pursuing further studies at Harvard Extension School and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the Alberta School of Business at the University of Alberta.
