Shashi Srikantan

Shashi Srikantan is a seasoned investment leader currently serving as the Managing Director at Level Up Ventures and Hearst, where expertise is focused on early-stage, tech-enabled startups led by Black and Latino founders. Srikantan also contributes as a member of Global Women in VC and serves as a HearstLab Scout, providing advisory support to early-stage, women-led startups. Previously, Srikantan founded Project Two.Eight, aimed at supporting female entrepreneurs, and held a director position at Fitch Ratings specializing in Sustainable Finance and ESG. Srikantan is also a founder of PLVSH, a fashion-tech company, and has experience in operations strategy at BNP Paribas and as an associate at Credit Suisse. Srikantan holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a B.S. in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from Villanova University.
