Katy Briggs

Katy Briggs is a Principal Consultant specializing in Clean Energy Manufacturing at DNV, with a focus on energy storage advisory and manufacturing due diligence. Since joining DNV in July 2007, Katy has held multiple leadership roles, including Strategy Lead for the Energy Systems business and Global Service Area Leader for Renewables Advisory, where responsibilities included aligning advisory services with market needs and driving innovation and digital transformation in renewables. Previous positions also involved overseeing benchmarking and performance evaluation of renewable assets, leading teams for technical assessments, and directing energy analysis initiatives for wind projects. In addition to professional contributions at DNV, Katy serves on the Board of Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy (WRISE) and as a member of the Tech Advisory Council for Washington Clean Energy Testbeds. Katy's earlier experience includes engineering roles at Boeing focused on electromagnetic effects and infrared technology. Katy holds a Master's degree in Physics from the University of Washington and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Pacific Lutheran University.
