Lauren Friedman

Lauren Friedman is an accomplished professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Senior Programs and Events Manager at Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy (WRISE) since September 2024. Previously, Lauren held the role of Solar Ambassador Program Manager at RE-volv, where oversight of the national Solar Ambassador Fellowship Program involved recruitment, management, and growth. Lauren's extensive experience at GRID Alternatives spanned multiple roles, including Senior Workforce Operations Manager, where responsibilities included managing workforce development and volunteer programming across eight affiliate offices. Lauren also contributed to research as a Graduate Research Assistant at Florida State University and gained early professional experience through internships at the American Council On Renewable Energy and Citilabs. Lauren holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and Communications, both from Florida State University.
