Zassmin M. is an advisor at Women Who Code. Zassmin previously worked as a software engineer at Lumos Labs (Lumosity) from December 2013 to December 2015. Zassmin graduated from Dev Bootcamp in September 2013, where they completed 800 hours of intensive web programming in Ruby, Sinatra, Rails, SQL, Javascript, Rspec, HTML and CSS. Zassmin also interned at BabyList in April 2013 as a junior software developer. In March 2013, they became the board vice chair, CTO, and co-founder of Women Who Code.

Zassmin M. completed the Alumni - S16 program at Women Who Code through Y Combinator. Zassmin then went on to study Community Studies with a focus on Social Science at the University of California, Santa Cruz. After completing their undergraduate degree, Zassmin M. enrolled in the Information Security program at Merritt College where they studied Application Security and Infrastructure Security. Finally, Zassmin M. completed the Pre-Law Undergraduate Scholars Program at the Santa Clara University School of Law. While completing their undergraduate degree, Zassmin M. also studied abroad in Oaxaca, Mexico through the University of California, Davis.
