Sofia Rubin

Sofia Rubin is a licensed mental health counselor and psychotherapist with extensive experience in providing trauma-informed care and individualized therapy. Currently serving as the Coordinator of Counseling at the Women’s Center of Jacksonville since August 2021, Sofia oversees client care, supervises interns, and offers therapy services to trauma survivors. In addition, Sofia maintains a private practice, offering telehealth psychotherapy sessions tailored to adult clients. Previous roles include a Mental Health Therapist at Florida Psychological Associates, where services encompassed individual, family, and group therapy, and a Mental Health Counseling Intern at the Women’s Center of Jacksonville, focusing on adolescent girls and women. Early career experiences include behavioral therapy roles and special education teaching, specializing in support for clients on the Autism Spectrum. Sofia Rubin holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of North Florida.
