Women's College Hospital
Sharon Tan, MPH, currently serves as the Manager of Learner & Student Services at Women's College Hospital and has been an Editor and Founding Member of the Turtle Island Journal of Indigenous Health since March 2019. Responsibilities at TIJIH include building relationships within the community, managing editorial tasks, and facilitating collaborative efforts that honor Indigenous perspectives. Sharon has held various roles at the University of Toronto, including Committee Member of the Anti-Asian Racism Working Group, Indigenous Health Program Coordinator, and Research Coordinator. Previous experience includes leading elder abuse prevention projects at the National Initiative for the Care of the Elderly and serving as Social Chair for the Dalla Lana School of Public Health Students' Association. Sharon holds a Master of Public Health in Indigenous Health, a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Health Studies, and a Certificate in Project Management from the University of Toronto.
