Junemarie Justus

Junemarie Justus is the founder of The Acorn Project, established in 2017, which promotes creative collaboration for social change through initiatives like "Reel Advocacy." As a United Nations Delegate since March 2015, Junemarie actively participates in the Commission on the Status of Women. Junemarie holds board memberships with Women's Economic Ventures, Women's Funding Network, and Women's Intercultural Network, and serves as an investor at Portfolia. Additionally, Junemarie has been a committee member at Human Rights Watch since 2012 and co-chaired the Women's Rights Champions. Previous roles include Policy Director for the US Women's Caucus at the UN and Business Owner/CIO at Integrated Components Source from 1984 to 2016. Junemarie received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from California State University, Northridge, and is currently pursuing education at the Harvard Kennedy School.
