Kim Cochran

Kim Cochran is an experienced professional in external affairs and development, currently serving in various roles at the Women's Foundation of Alabama since February 2019, including Vice President of External Affairs and Alliance Development. Cochran has a significant background as President of Public Affairs Strategies since 2003 and has held consulting positions with Pfizer and VOICES FOR ALABAMA'S CHILDREN. Previous experience includes roles as Grassroots Manager for the American Lung Association Southeast Region and Community Coordinator for the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network. Earlier career highlights include serving as an Account Executive at Cohn and Wolfe Public Relations and as a Legislative Aide to U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell. Kim Cochran earned a BA in Political Science from The University of Alabama between 1988 and 1992.
