Robert Armstrong

Chief Financial Officer at Axia Women’s Health

Rob has served as Chief Financial Officer of Axia Women’s Health since September 2022 and has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry with a focus on working with both payors and providers as a CFO, investment banker and consultant.

Most recently, Rob was the CFO of Great Expressions, one of the nation’s largest Dental Support Organizations supporting 500 doctors and 450 hygienists in 300 locations. Prior to that, Rob led Corporate Development for DentaQuest, which manages dental and vision benefits for more than 27 million Americans and where he conducted both buy-side M&A and assisted the company in a recapitalization with private equity.

Prior to that, Rob served as CFO of both HealthSun Health Plans (a 5-Star Medicare Advantage plan in South Florida) and a network of full-risk, primary care centers branded WellMax and Pasteur. Prior to that, Rob worked in healthcare investment banking for 15 years at UBS, Stifel Nicolaus and The Fortune Group and completed over 100 M&A and equity/debt financing transactions during that time.

Rob earned an MBA from the University of Chicago, with concentrations in Finance and Accounting and a BA from Duke University, majoring in both Economics and English. He lives in St. Louis, Missouri, where he enjoys playing tennis with his wife and two kids.
