Utibe-Abasi Bassey-Duke currently serves as the Special Assistant for Gender Mainstreaming to the Governor of Cross River State, a role held since March 2024. Bassey-Duke is also a co-founder of Cradle Care Initiative and holds project officer positions with Women Situation Room Nigeria and Women's International League for Peace and Freedom. Additional responsibilities include serving as Acting Leader of the Akpabuyo Youth Parliament and Program Manager for Cross River State Young Women in Politics, alongside leadership roles at Enactus Ghana as Team Leader and at ANUC Idea Incubation Cell as President. Recent experience includes participation on the Transition Committee for the Government of Cross River State. Bassey-Duke's academic credentials include a Master's degree in Entrepreneurship from the National Open University of Nigeria, alongside various degrees in business administration with a focus on entrepreneurial studies from multiple institutions.
