Chief Of Staff at Women's March

Suhayl Santana has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. From 2021 to the present, they have worked as the Chief of Staff at the Women's March, where they collaborate with the executive team to ensure the organization's programs and initiatives align with its mission and strategic priorities. Suhayl also oversees the development of the organization's infrastructure. Santana's early career included roles at Amnesty International USA in the Membership Mobilization Department, where they worked as an Executive Assistant from 2011 to 2013 and as an Organizing Intern in 2011. Suhayl also gained experience at Utica College as the Lead Program & Admin Intern at the Womyn's Resource Center, where they managed programming and supervised interns and work-study students from 2007 to 2010.

Suhayl Santana completed a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Urban Policy & Leadership from Hunter College between the years 2020 and 2022. Before that, they attended Utica University from 2006 to 2011 and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International/Global Studies, with a focus on Human Rights Advocacy. In addition to their formal education, Suhayl Santana has obtained several certifications, including Certified Community Coach from Leadership that Works, Certified Professional Diversity Coach from CoachDiversity Institute, Event Management from The George Washington University, and Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from Oxford Seminars Certification.
