Barry van Oudtshoorn

Barry van Oudtshoorn has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2004, they started their career as a Composer and later transitioned into roles as a Web Designer and Print Designer at barryvan. In 2005, they worked as a Developer at GeeDee Realty Systems. In 2008, they joined SEQTA Software, where they held multiple positions, including CIO, Developer, Product Manager, and Product Development Manager. Barry was responsible for leading the company's information technology projects and managing product development. In 2020, Barry joined Education Horizons Group as the Head of Engineering and later moved on to become the Ecosystem, Parents & Students, and Teaching & Learning Product Manager. In 2022, they briefly worked at Moodle as a Platform Manager before joining Wonde as the Global Head of API.

Barry van Oudtshoorn's education history consists of two significant periods of study. From 2005 to 2008, they attended The University of Western Australia, where they pursued a Bachelor of Computer Science (Hons) degree. Barry majored in Computer Science and also studied French during their time at the university.

In 2018, Barry briefly enrolled in the Future Institute of Australia, where they completed a Certificate IV in Leadership and Management.

Furthermore, Barry has obtained several additional certifications throughout their career. In November 2018, they received the Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) certification from the Scrum Alliance. Subsequently, in 2021, Barry earned multiple certifications from Scaled Agile, Inc., including becoming a Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist in June, a Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager in July, and a Certified SAFe® 5 Practitioner in August.
