David Shay

David Shay has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles.

Starting in 2016, they served as an International Finance Intern at Anthem Bank & Trust, where they assisted in evaluating companies for risk assessment, transcribed financial statements, and conducted market analysis.

In 2018, David worked as an Operational Marketing Intern at Guava Empowerment LLC. David supported the company's growth by curating the Amazon Influencer page, establishing its internet presence and customer trust.

During their time at the University of Florida, David held multiple roles, including being the Chapter Development Director for the American Marketing Association and an Assistant Director for the Florida Blue Key Speech & Debate Tournament. David also served as a Preview Facilitator at the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business.

From 2019 to 2021, David worked as a Marketing Specialist Intern at Cisco and later as a Cloud Applications Consultant at Oracle. In these roles, they gained experience in marketing and cloud applications.

Most recently, David joined Wonderbelly as an IT & Business Operations Associate in 2023. David is currently working in this role.

David is currently an Inside Sales Representative at Redgate Software, starting in 2023.

David Shay completed their high school education and received a High School Diploma from Christopher Columbus High School in 2010-2014. David then pursued higher education at the University of Florida from 2014-2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Information Systems and Operations Management. During their time at the University of Florida, they also participated in a Study Abroad program at Maynooth University in 2014, studying Irish Studies and Business Writing. In 2018-2020, David furthered their education at the University of Florida and obtained a Master's of Science degree in Information Systems and Operations Management. David also had short non-degree seeking experiences at Ringling College of Art and Design in 2013, where they studied Game Design and Concept Art, and at the University of Miami in 2012, where their studies focused on Film Studies.
