Amit Tilekar has a diverse range of work experience spanning across multiple industries. In 2005, they started their career as an intern at Greaves Cotton Limited and later worked as a project engineer at Tata AutoComp Systems Ltd. Amit then joined Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited as an officer in retail sales and marketing. In 2008, they took on a summer intern role at Titan Industries. From 2011 to 2021, Amit worked at Godrej Appliances, gradually progressing from a Marketing Manager to Assistant General Manager and Head of Digital Marketing. Currently, in 2022, they hold the position of Chief Marketing Officer at Wonderchef Home Appliances Pvt Ltd.
Amit Tilekar obtained a Master's degree in Marketing (MMS) from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical (Sandwich) Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University from 2001 to 2005. Amit also holds various certifications in digital marketing and social media strategy, including a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute in 2014, and certifications from Google and HubSpot Academy obtained in 2018 and 2021.
