Jonathan Edward Nestler has a diverse work experience in the field of design and multimedia. Jonathan Edward began their career in 2010 at Digineering, where they worked as a New Media Designer, handling print-related work, website design, and creating DVD menus. Jonathan Edward then joined Betelgeuse Advertising as a Senior Designer & DTP, focusing on brand development, creative concept execution, and various media projects.

In 2013, Nestler worked at Falcorp Technologies as a Web and Graphic Designer, where they continued to handle print-related work, site design, and creating DVD menus. Jonathan Edward also worked at Xcellent Media as a Web & New Media Designer, where they designed websites, implemented HTML5 and CSS3, and learned Python and Django.

At Betelgeuse Advertising, Nestler worked as a Senior Designer & DTP, focusing on brand development, internal corporate advertising, newsletters, and mailers. Jonathan Edward then joined Kashan Advertising as a Senior Designer & Web, handling print-related work, web design, book cover design, and logo design for various government organizations.

From 2015 to 2016, Nestler worked at Thinklocal as a Graphic Artist, creating advertisements for clients along the South African coast. Jonathan Edward was responsible for layout, proofreading, deadline management, and CMYK printing.

In 2016, Nestler started their own professional freelance design business under the name jonathanedwardnestler.co.za. Jonathan Edward continued their freelance work until 2017, where they focused on providing design services to various clients.

Jonathan Edward then joined Copy World in 2017 as a Graphic Design & DTP Professional for a brief period before moving to EduBoard Interactive Classroom Solutions as a Multimedia Consultant. At EduBoard, they were responsible for website creation, designing printed media, interactive media, video production, and brainstorming marketing ideas for social media platforms.

Currently, Nestler works at Wonderlabz SA as a Senior Designer, specializing in UX and UI design, visual effects, and game development for various portfolios. Jonathan Edward handles design collateral, UI & UX prototyping, CI development, illustrations, and animations for online media using Photoshop CC.

Jonathan Edward Nestler has a diverse education history. Jonathan Edward is currently pursuing a Professional Diploma in UX Design from the UX Design Institute, with an expected completion date in 2023. In 2010, they attended Open Window, where they completed the first year of a Degree in Visual Communication. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2005, Jonathan was enrolled at Damelin, where they studied Live Design & New Media Design, although they did not complete their degree. Additionally, they obtained their Matric from HTS Vereeniging in 2001, specializing in N3 Technical Matric.
