Janise Powell

Janise Powell, Ed.D, is an experienced professional in education and business, currently serving as the Owner/Founder of Abundant Stories, LLC since March 2024 and as a Business Coach/Program Manager/Provider Onboarding Manager at Wonderschool since August 2023. Previous roles include hourly consultant and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Manager at EDMO, and Assistant Event Coordinator at Breath of Fresh Air Events. Additional experience encompasses co-facilitating for Rise For Racial Justice, leading after school programs at Eden Housing, and various roles at the University of Houston. Janise holds a Doctor of Education in International and Multicultural Education from the University of San Francisco, a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from the University of Houston, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of the Pacific.
