Kaori Takagi has extensive experience in the field of UI and 2D art, with a focus on game development. Kaori currently holds the role of Sr. UI Artist at Wonderstorm, a multimedia startup dedicated to creating entertainment franchises. Kaori'swork at Wonderstorm involves developing The Dragon Prince, a Netflix animated series, and an accompanying video game. Prior to Wonderstorm, Kaori worked as a Senior UI Artist at Big Fish Games. Kaori also gained experience as a UI Artist at Scopely, where they created UX and UI for various features and optimized assets for implementation in Unity. Kaori previously held the position of 2D Artist/UI at FoxNext and Aftershock LA, both of which were acquired by Scopely and FoxNext respectively. At Kabam, which was rebranded as Aftershock LA, Kaori worked as a 2D artist, creating icons that represented unique abilities for playable characters. Kaori also served as a 2D artist at Glu Mobile, working on backgrounds and character costume designs for Katy Perry Pop. Additionally, Kaori has worked as a freelance artist for various companies, including Independent Client, Oddbot Inc., and TapZen, where they contributed to projects ranging from animated commercials to game character design.

Kaori Takagi attended ArtCenter College of Design from 2008 to 2013, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in the Illustration Department, specifically in the Entertainment Arts Track.
