Tim Mendez

Tim Mendez started their work experience as a Software Intern at Originate in 2015. Tim was involved in frontend web application development and utilized CoffeeScript, Gherkin/Cucumber, Stylus, and React. Tim then joined Originate again in 2016 as a Software Engineer, where they worked on various projects including frontend web development, Unity development, fullstack web development, and backend web development. In 2019, Tim joined Chipotle Mexican Grill as a Software Engineer, focusing on creating online ordering features using Vue, TypeScript, and .NET core. Tim then moved to Wonderstorm in 2021 as a Senior Software Engineer, contributing to the development of The Dragon Prince game using Kotlin and C++. Tim later became a Principal Software Engineer at Wonderstorm in 2022, and also worked at Amazon Games as a Software Development Engineer II in 2022-2023, primarily working on fullstack web development using Typescript, React, Java, and Kotlin. Currently, Tim Mendez is working as a Principal Software Engineer at Wonderstorm.

Tim Mendez attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2011 to 2016, where they studied Computer Science. Additionally, they obtained the certification of Tillamook Creamery Certified Dominant Supertaster from the Tillamook County Creamery Association in April 2022. In September 2020, they graduated from the Planet Money Summer School program offered by NPR.
