Amber Schleuning

Amber Schleuning serves as the Chief Design Officer at Wondros since January 2020, focusing on transforming user experiences and fostering innovation within design teams. As the founder of Slyning & Co since March 2018, Amber collaborates with various organizations to integrate insights and strategies for impactful projects. Previously, Amber held leadership roles at the VA Center for Innovation within the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, first as Executive Director and then as Deputy Director, where efforts were directed towards advancing healthcare innovations. Additional experience includes strategic roles at The COMMIT Foundation and the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations. Amber began an engineering career in the U.S. Army, serving in multiple operational capacities. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Health from Emory University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Colorado Boulder, alongside advanced coursework in National Security Policy Studies at Georgetown University.
