Deryn Bolton

Deryn Bolton has extensive work experience in HR and people management roles. Deryn most recently served as the Head of People at Wonga since February 2020. Prior to that, they worked as an HR Consultant at Silvertree Internet Holdings from January 2017 to April 2019 and as the Head of People & Culture at PriceCheck from October 2016 to April 2019. Deryn has also held positions such as HR Manager at Wear South African in 2016, and Training & Development Manager at Cape Union Mart from March 2011 to December 2012. Deryn has a background in events and fundraising, having worked at MasterPeace as part of an international peace initiative in 2011. Deryn has also gained experience in business development at RedZebra and held various HR responsibilities at Platinum Group, including recruitment, training, industrial relations, and organizational change.

Deryn Bolton obtained a Bachelor of Business Science degree in Organisational Psychology & Human Resource Management from the University of Cape Town, completing the program from 2002 to 2005.
